59 YO here, and I can remember watching the OG Ultraman, back in the 60's early 70's. I'm pretty sure it was edited, because I don't remember the brutal slayings of the Kaiju, just that Ultraman shot his various light beams and blam, the monster died. This and Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot were the two Japanese Kaiju shows I remember watching as a kid.

I love how everytime Ultraman Taro enter the fight it's already playing his theme song. This is quite different from any other Ultraman series that use the theme song on the end when the fight it's ceritain that Ultraman will win. But that's not the case with Ultraman Taro. I love that
